New Labelling Requirement for the UK Market
Updated information on the UKCA certification of our products
The European conformity marking CE is about to be discontinued in Great Britain. Starting on December 31, 2024, after a two-year transition period, only the British UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking will be accepted there. This also affects HELUKABEL cables, wires and accessories.
Unfortunately, it is not yet clear how the UKCA marking will be regulated next year. However, we are in constant contact with the responsible authorities through our British subsidiary, HELUKABEL (UK) Ltd. This ensures that we are informed in a timely fashion about all future decisions on this topic. The UKCA mark is currently only printed on our product labels. As soon as there is more regulatory clarity, we will also apply it to products and data sheets.
We are convinced that we will be able to offer our customers in the UK our products and solutions reliably and in compliance with the regulations in the future as well. We will of course keep you informed about further news on the subject of UKCA certification.
